What tours do you operate?

During Whale Season (July-October) we run our Whale Watch Cruises, a 5 hour morning cruise from 8am-1pm and a 4 hour afternoon cruise from 2pm-6pm. Summer Cruises (November-May) we offer a half day (5hr 9am -2pm) Fraser Island Beach + BBQ cruise or try our lovely Hervey Bay Sunset Cruise (1.5hr). *Departure time for Sunset Cruise is subject to change due to timing of Sun setting.

 

What to bring on a cruise?

Morning Whale Watch cruise: Hat, Sunscreen, Drink bottle, Camera

Afternoon Whale Watch cruise: Hat, Drink bottle, Camera, Jumper (if you feel the cold – we have indoor seating available with a full view of the water.)

Fraser Island Beach + BBQ: Hat, Sunscreen, Towel, Swimmers, Camera, Drink bottle

Hervey Bay Sunset Cruise: Camera, Jumper (if you feel the cold – we have indoor seating available.) What are your office hours? Monday-Sunday 7am-7pm

 

Is your boat Wheelchair/ walker accessible?

Yes we are accessible for all patrons, with intimate water level viewing, extra wide viewing areas and a wheelchair accessible toilet.

  

Do I need to print my ticket?

As part of our sustainable business policy, we don’t require printed tickets; simply state the name your booking is in to board the boat.

 

Do you offer group discounts?

If your group consists of 10 or more adults, please contact our office to receive our group discounts.

 

Do you honour the Companion Card?

We offer those who hold a companion card the concession price for our cruises during peak season. Off peak we offer 50% discount for the companion card holder (excluding weekends.)

 

Do you cater for vegans, vegetarians, gluten intolerances, dairy intolerances, allergies?

If sufficient notice is provided we are able to cater for dietary requirements or allergies.

 

Which tour is better for Whale Sightings, morning or afternoon?

Both! The difference is you’ll get an extra hour of Whale Watching in the morning, or a fabulous sunset in the afternoon...so take your pick.

 

Can I bring my infant on board the Fraser Beach + BBQ?

Yes, we can safely get infants over to Fraser Island in our tender. We require children under 12 to wear a child’s life jacket provided on board. We provide sand play equipment for the little ones.

 

Are children welcome on the Hervey Bay Sunset Cruise?

Yes!  Children are welcome on all our cruises.

 

Can I bring my pram/stroller on board?

Yes but please let staff know when you book as there is limited space available to store prams/strollers.

 

Do I need to check in at the office before going to the boat?

If you have to pay for your cruise yes please. Otherwise, just head to the boat for boarding, 15 minutes before departure time.

  

Is pick up from local accommodations, complimentary?

We do offer complimentary pick up from local accommodation, Hotels, Motels, Caravan Parks and some Air BnBs in the Hervey Bay area. Contact staff at office for your pick up time or enter your pick up location when booking online and you’ll be sent a confirmation via email.
