Whale Search and Dolphin Watch Cruise

Hervey Bay Whale Search & Dolphin Watch Cruise

Starts 7th July & cruises daily until 24th July 2012 – 8:30am to 2pm

Whale Watching Tours start 24th July to November

From the 18th July, if whales are not seen on a scheduled whale search cruise the all guests will be offered another cruise in our 2012 season free of charge!

By combining our Whale Search with the Hervey Bay Dolphin Watching Tour we not only give our guests the possibility to be one of the first to see the mighty Humpback Whales as they purposely enter the Hervey Bay Marine Park for some ‘R & R’, before continuing on their return journey to their summer feeding grounds in Antarctica. But we also give them a longer cruise than our usual Half Day Whale Watching Tour, and thus more time with the Whales and Dolphins.

The diversity of wildlife is changing constantly but we can honestly state that the following is seen regularly on our Dolphin Watch Cruise:

  • Up to four varieties of dolphins
  • Sting rays
  • Turtles
  • Fish
  • Bird life
  • Occasionally the endangered Dugong
    (sea cow)
  • Other whales
  • And in the year 2000 we saw five other whale species!

All this with the beautiful backdrop of World Heritage listed Fraser Island.

Due to the unpredictability of nature, we don’t want to guarantee that the Humpback Whale will be sighted, but if there are whales in the Hervey Bay we will find them. However we DO GUARANTEE to show you Dolphins & if whales are not seen during cruises from the 18th of July to the 24th of July, we will offer another cruise with us up to 31.10.2012 for FREE. Feel free to give us a call and ask how we are doing.
