Seafood @ Sunset Dinner Cruise proving a hit with the locals

News,Tours & Cruises

In Late 2011 we introduced a scheduled Seafood @ Sunset Dinner Cruise on Friday and Saturday Evenings.

Initially designed to cater for tourists outside of the busy whale season, we found that we were being patronized by a large percentage of locals.

We have just started promoting more to the local market as well as the tourists.

Valantines day proved popular with a great mix of people on board. Two tourists from Brisbane and 30 locals.

The weather has been kind (most of the time) and that helps .

We aspire too serve good quality fresh produce done simply but well.

This is the feedback we are getting from our guests, something we intend to build on.

A year of service now for the new Whalesong

News

We have had a busy year finishing off the new Whalesong vessel and selling the original Whalesong .

It was nice to finally get out and about with the whales and dolphins on the new boat in 2011.

The extra width given to the side and aft(back) decks  makes for great viewing, and even greater wheelchair access than the original boat.

The galley is much bigger and more functional than our original boat that served us so well for so long.

The large windows in the main saloon give awesome viewing from the inside for those who wished to watch in comfort.

We have also saved significantly on fuel with the new boat which greatly minimizes our carbon footprint.

After the whales went home we got into our Xmas Parties in November.

The new Whalesong more than proved herself  for parties and functions with many a good time had.
